We're honored to be featured in Storm Media's 2026 "Icons of Trades" (百工人物誌) series! CHT InventAI General Manager Albert Lee was interviewed together with VP of R&D Huang Wen-Chun and VP of Sales & Marketing Alicia Shu. The conversation went beyond our products to the real story of a team that went from a research institute to a startup.

In 2016, Albert attended NVIDIA GTC in the US and came back with a question: GPUs are so valuable, so could different teams share them? That idea went on to pass through internal validation at the research institute, external client projects, and startup incubation, and ultimately became the starting point of CHT InventAI.

Alicia shared that during incubation, the team had to prove it had a product, customers, and a business model to convince the parent company to let it become independent. Having come through that journey, she values like-minded partners even more.

Wen-Chun went from writing code to leading a team. Through constant communication, he brought colleagues beyond the boundaries of their original roles to take on this venture together.
